Neighbourhood Watch

Queen Camel Neighbourhood Watch has recently been taken over by Parish Councillor Jude Coggins after formally being run by Sue Cole extremely efficiently.

Jude is proposing a few minor changes to simplify the process in the hope of making the Neighbourhood Watch more accessible to people in the village.

After consulting Thelma Mead, our local Police Community Support Officer (PCSO), we will be setting up a NEW LOOK Queen Camel Neighbourhood Watch and Jude would very much appreciate your comments and hope that you may all feel able to get involved.

If anyone has a Neighbourhood Watch concern then the notification process should be:

  1. Report any serious crime immediately to the Police on 999.
  2. Report a less serious crime to the Police on 101.
  3. Once you have done one of the above please also report the crime to Jude by e-mail to or phone me/leave a message on 07971 256701.
  4. Your message will then be posted on the Neighbourhood Watch website which can be found here PLEASE NOTE that NO names or addresses will be entered on the report.

We are of course all very lucky to live in such a safe and happy village so let’s work to keep it that way! If you would like to get involved, please contact Jude directly.
